Festival Volunteering shifts are below:
Saturday morning shift 7am till 10am – This shift involves helping stallholders, setting up marquees, lifting, carrying and setting up equipment.
Saturday Festival shift 10am till 5pm – This involves volunteering at various locations across the festival.
Saturday evening shift 5pm till 8pm – This involves packing down stalls, marquees, equipment and clearing the site
There are a variety of different roles on offer across the festival including; setting up and packing away, stewarding, ticket sales, managing bin and toilet areas, supporting activities within the children’s area and assisting the tech team.
We cannot guarantee you will be given the role that you choose but will try to match your skills and interests to the role as far as is practical.
You will also be required to attend a briefing/induction meeting on 3rd May in the evening at Canterbury College (exact time to be confirmed).
If you would like to work the ‘Saturday Festival’ shift could you please arrive at 9 am on 4th May 2019 – 1 hour before your shift starts.
